Eibos Cyclopes Drier's fan is noisy. Inspired by https://www.printables.com/model/51737, I created another fan converter for Noctua 80mm fan.
Features (compared to 51737):
- Have hole for fan cable
- Better air flow (I hope so. I'm not sure)
- Higher (more space to reduce cross-sectional area)
- Larger center air way (the heater area is a rectangle, not a circle)
- Compatible with M4 screws and nuts
Requirements:
- Noctua 5V 80mm fan
- Either (fan screws x4) or (M4x12 screws x4 and nuts x4)
- Bigger stands x4 (from https://www.printables.com/model/51737)
Install instructions:
- Unscrew the four stands, open the back panel, and unscrew the original fan
- Remove original fan cable and connect with Noctua's
- The easier way is cutting the original cable and using Noctua's OmniJoin cable
- Otherwise, be sure the fan is on the other side of the back panel if your new cable is not reconnectable.
- Screw the fan onto the fan converter (align with the cable hole)
- Close the back panel (cable hole is on the side)
- Screw the fan converter to the base (through the fan blades; reuse original screws)
- Screw the bigger stands (reuse original screws)
Print instructions:
PETG, 0.15mm layer height. No support is needed.
