Rollers for IKEA drybox, 16 variations

If you are looking for spool rollers for my Ikea 365+ drydox design they are all found in the same 3D model page.

But if you are looking for my versions of spool rollers for Armin3dp's drybox you have just found them. 

For normal width and ultrawide frames.

Two bearing sizes to choose from: original 688 and more common but larger 608.

Filament spool slot is deeper and walls have steeper angles. No roundings used to maximize space and keep the filament spool level. Two slot sizes to choose from: 3 and 6 mm. Optional wall for the other end of the spool.

Maximum spool widths with walls on both ends:

Normal frame: 69,2 mm
Wide frame: 73,2 mm

Walls at the end of the rollers are only ~2 mm thick. Without them the filament spool can move inside the spool wall slot and the maximum width of the spool is actually smaller unless the spool wall thickness matches the spool slot perfectly. Even then warping of the spool walls can cause the wall to touch the frame or make it fall off the roller.

• Bearings:
  • 688: roller_688
  • 602: roller_602
• Frame width:
  • Normal: frm-nr
  • Wide (i.e. "ultrawide"): frm-wd
• Spool wall slot width:
  • 3 mm: gap-nr
  • 6 mm: gap-wd
• Wall on both ends:
  • No: end-no
  • Yes: end-yh

That makes 16 different version total. Something for everyone.

Printing

Use step-file instead of stl-file if possible. Settings I use on my Bambu Lab X1C:

• Seam position: Random (Scarf Seams might be optimal if available)
• Wall loops: 3
• Top / Bottom surface pattern: Concentric
• Top / Bottom shell layers: 3 
• Top shell thickness: 0
• Sparse infill density: 20 %
• Sparse infill pattern: Triangles

Note that maximum overhang angle in the model is 60°.
