This is my rather classic design concept for a soap dish. The bottom of the dish is slanted to allow the water to run off. This creates a stepped surface that may or may not look interesting to your eye. The finer the print resolution, the finer these steps appear, but of course, the longer it takes to print.
The ribs aim to minimize contact with the soap bar, which should result in better drying and less soap sludge on the contact surface.
