This is the first model I am publishing here on Printables. I'll be the first to admit that I am no whiz when it comes to CAD, but this did turn out perfect for its intended use and I figured if anybody else wanted to use it, I'd be happy to share it with the world!
This tool is used to to snap on the top of your Trex Decking to help ensure to you have exactly a ½ inch overhang at the edges of your deck. (If that's the look that you want, it's not a requirement, just personal preference)
It fits snuggly across most any composite decking material that is 5.5 inches in width. I made this overhang tool using a piece of Trex decking as a reference piece, but I've also tested it with Timber Tech and with Fiberon with the same fitment.
It's simple, its effective, and it works!
