If you want to mount your shifter from top instead of bottom you can use this mounting bracket that uses the original screws.
Extra material needed
- 4x M4x20 (optional, but I think the original screws are a tad too short)
- 12x 12x20 countersink wood screws
Note! You do not need to fasten the bottom also like I have done on cover photo. It is perfectly fine to leave it hanging in the air like below. I had it like that for a good while (before I bought a handbrake and needed a bottom plane).
