Threaded Bowden Connector for 2020 Extrusions
This 2020-mounted double-ended Bowden connector enables the use of bowden couplers to securely manage your filament path.
Use a single connector to securely hold your reverse bowden in place.
Add the second to fasten your drybox PTFE tube without any chances for a surprise disconnection mid-print!
Inspired by the standard Voron bowden_retainer here.
Which One do I Need?
The Bowden Coupler (depicted first, printed in blue) is the stronger of the two, easier to print, and is therefore recommended.
Some routing scenarios may require a different orientation. Bowden Coupler - Cross is effectively rotated 90 degrees for this exact situation.
Printing & Installation:
Hardware needed:
1x 8mm M3 fastener (SHCS, BHCS, etc.)
1x M3 Hammerhead T-Nut
1-2x M10 Bowden Coupler
When printing the Threaded Voron Bowden Connector, ensure that the M10 hole is on the Z axis (pointed up and down). For best thread quality, use 0.1mm layer height.
