Protecting caps for gas stoves or multifuel burners. I originally designed this for my Primus Omnifuel, but as this stove uses the standart thread (EN417 or 7/16 x28 unef), it should work with any stove or burner compatible with screw valve cartriges (such as Snowpeak, Coleman, Edelrid, Markill, Campinggaz…).
Printing
PETG, 0.15 layer height
The threads are quite delicate to print and i designed them with very little tolerance. I recommend scaling the caps in 5% steps in x&y to figure out the best fit for your printer.
First use
The first time you use them, you will cut the printed thread again to the correct fit. Make sure you hit the right spot to screw the mating thread into the printed thread, otherwise you will cut a new thread which will break the printed one.
Fix the caps with a thin cord so that you don't lose them on your adventures.
