I designed a wall mount for the Shark NV352 Navigator Lift Away Vacuum to save floor space and keep it handy for frequent use. The mount hooks into the vacuum’s handle and attaches to the wall with four screws. I printed it using ASA for durability, though PLA might work too.
Some FEA done in FreeCAD shows the mount experiences only 7.6 MPa of stress due to the vacuum being mounted, about 12% of ASA’s XY strength (65 MPa), so it should be safe. The FEA I did was assuming it was hollow with 6 perimeters. 0.42mm each (2.5mm total). In reality, I also had cubic infill, adding to the strength.
After a week of testing and some pull tests, it’s holding up well.
