A simple folding utility knife!
V1 DOES NOT LOCK IN OPEN POSITION - USE WITH CAUTION
Designed to stay locked well in closed position, to prevent from opening while its in your pocket. I have also included a wire stripper (using the cut-out for the thumb stud. For left-handed users, you will need to mirror both handles, aswell as the blade frame.
You will need to print the following:
- 1x Blade Frame
- 2x Blade Pin
- 2x Male Pivot
- 2x Female Pivot
- 1x Left Handle
- 1x Right Handle
- 1x Locking Bar
Assemble pieces, gluing in the locking bar to the back of the handle. I suggest applying glue between 70-90% of the length of the bar, to increase strength.
The Blade Frame should be printed flat on its side, with tree supports. This will need to be cleared out well with a pick or similar small object to ensure the blade fits snugly into the frame. The blade is then locked into place with the two blade pins.
