I wanted a hard carry case for my Futaba T4PM Plus radio transmitter but could not find one I liked. So I found a hard case at Harbor Freight called the Apache 2800 and designed some ASA and TPU inserts to convert it into the carry case I needed. I had to spilt this into 2 pieces as it would not fit on the Bambu Labs X1C print plate as a whole. There are pegs build-in to align the 2 halves. I glued the 2 halves together using CA glue. I then glued the entire assembly into the Apache case using Gorilla Glue. I glued the logo plate onto the top of the case using CA glue too. I also had to cut about 2/3rd of the valve screw off to be able to put it back into the case without interfering with the ASA insert, I use a Dremel for this. I printed the ASA on my X1C and the TPU on my Prusa MK3S+.
