easy to load filament detection sensor that uses a regular opto endstop as the encoder sensor. works well with ercf/mmu.
you will need:
2x pc4-M5 pneumatic coupling (bowden coupling - passthrough)
1x opto endstop
1x bmg gear idler and needle bearing assembly
1x 22mm length, 5mm diameter shaft/pin
1x 625rs bearing
1x m3x22 button head screw
2x m3x30 cap head screws
4x m3x15 cap head screws
2x m3x12 cap head screws
1x spring from pen
Assembly is pretty straightforward. If you feel like you need to, you can apply some candle wax to the area where the 625rs bearing mount/slider printed part slides but in all honesty it works fine running it dry anyway
EDIT: THERE IS NOW A NEW/IMPROVED VERSION THAT USES 3 OF 3X8 N52 MAGNETS AND A 5MM HEAT SET INSERT WHICH ENCORPORATES A FILAMENT TENSIONING SYSTEM SO TENSION ON FILAMENT CAN BE ADJUSTED -
