UPDATE Dec 21,2024:
I was asked to provide a dual 120mm edition. I have uploaded the files (fanstack120 + tpu-gasket120), but i have not tested these myself. If someone can offer some feedback, that's be awesome !
The screws to mount the fans to the housing, go through the area where the filter sits, there are tapered holes.
As for printing; REMOVE the calibration lines when you print the tpu-gasket120, as it's going to print over this area. This assuming you're using a bambulab printer. This part may not be required, i just provided it anyways. This also applies on how you orient the fanstack120 file.
Hepa to dual 80mm fan extraction.
It's just a housing to mount 2 fan to the hepa filter, as i needed a ventilation on my printer cabinet.
It's just for peace of mind i guess, and to see if i could model this.
It holds the hepa filter in place with magnets, and there is an optional TPU gasket to place between the fans and the housing.
It uses 12 magnets 6x3 for a quickrelease function out of pure lazyness, i didn't feel like going through the hassle of having to open it with a screwdriver whenever i need to change the filter (it's mounted on the left upper corner behind my printer).
It also uses ‘Philips 8038 Hepa’ filters (easily available), just cut the little tab off to make it fit in the housing.
I used 2 80mm fans by BeQuiet, but any 80mm fans can be used i imagine?
If you need different fan sizes, let me know and i might modify the design for you!
STL's/3MF files have the models in the way i printed them, default bambulab settings (i lied, i added ‘auto tree supports’) and the thing came out like a charm, and i used Jayo PLA meta white.
Also, yes; i know my ledstrip is damaged, i'll replace it when i'll get to it… for now it's not bothering me (YET!)
