This articulated spider is designed to resemble an Australian Redback Spider. It includes options for different leg lengths and an optional colored press-fit "butt stripe" to match the Redback’s iconic look. Each model features an underside mounting point for a magnet.
The connections have been reinforced to be more kid-friendly, and I've had no issues with strength or breakage after multiple playtests (this thing is a hit at my partner's large office, for kids and pranks alike!).
The magnet slot is designed for a standard 6mm diameter x 3mm height neodymium magnet. For best results, use a strong glue and allow adequate drying time.
While it’s probably possible to print without one, I use a small raft. Printed using PLA at a 0.2mm layer height on an Ender CR-10 with a 0.4mm nozzle.
