A modular wall mount system for the Kensington SD4839P USB C Dock.
This can also be used to mount to desks/other surfaces, like tables/desks.

The two screw holes on the back of the dock use M2.5 screws, and are spaced 30mm centre to centre of the screw holes. I have seen other Kensington USB C docks with threaded inserts on the bottom. If they are also spaced 30mm apart, in theory this mount should be compatible. If you test this with other docks, please let me know!

I wanted a wall mount for my dock, but didn't see any mounts for my dock. Additionally, most of the docks I saw didn't make use of the two M2.5 threads on the bottom of their respective units. As such, I set out to make my own. Simply slide the male connector into the female connector, and they will click into place!
(Do not connect them without attaching the male connector to the dock, as they can be difficult to remove.)

There is also a version for connecting to the Honeycomb Storage Wall system.

There are two groups of files here:

Version 1:
This is the group of files I suggest using.
Version 1 includes the male connector for the dock itself, the wall mounted female connector, and a Honeycomb Storage Wall female connector.

Version 1.5:
This group consists of barebones female connectors.
The purpose of these is to be used to make your own mounts and connectors.
Version 1.5 includes the “Slim” connector, which has the thinnest ideal walls. The “Square” connector is surrounded by flat faces, hopefully making modifications as painless as possible within your CAD program of choice. The “Square” version is 50mm wide by 47mm deep, by 8mm thick.
