Needed a solution to hang my headphones/hearing protection from the 6040 profile I mounted to my ceiling so I came up with this very simple design. Should fit quite a lot of different headphones since the Uves Axess I used for drawing the model are quite wide (~50mm). Tested with AirPods Max aswell, fits perfect just aswell!
One might also use these without aluminum extrusion hanging from their ceiling - these work great below tabletops/shelfs! :)
Print it with the bridging-part lying flat on the buildplate of your printer and use > 6 perimeter layers – or so many that the thin part is completely made up of perimeter layers.
I've used PETG and would not recommend PLA for this application, the finished model stil has a tiny amount of flex to it and I really enjoy the overall look, however there might be stronger models for even heavier headphones.
