This model is for an IV Bag Plug for Simulation Education that allows the re-use of pre-filled distilled water saline bags.
In our Simulation labs there are times when learners need to have fluid bags pre-hung for a Simulation (simulated medication or normal saline in most cases).
The plug fits common IV bags used in Simulation.
Printing Notes & Recommendations:
- Use Flex (such as Ninja Flex) or TPU to get the best sealing capability.
- 25% infill at minimum (the higher the infill the more firm the plug).
- Depending on your printer you may want to limit how many plugs you print at once (ex. with a Prusa MK4 we can do between 10 and 20 at a time).
- Small burrs may appear when printing multiple plugs at once; most of the time they break off, but flush cutters can remove them easily.
