I designed this as a substitute for the clips in the lid of Creality's CFS, which maintain spring-loaded pressure on the filament spools. I wanted something that required no tools or accessories to make and also fit into the location of the factory original. I have created 9 sizes ranging from 2mm to 10mm in 1mm increments to accommodate smaller spool sizes. The "Base Plate" replaces the factory original and can be used without "Cover Plates". If you encounter a spool of filament that requires additional down pressure due to its smaller size, simply snap on an appropriately sized "Cover Plate".
