Current Version: 2.3
Tested and currently in use by me on my 24s2p build pictured.
BTG WTF rails, 11.5x7 Burris, VOW's V2 battery box.
NOTE: THIS BOX REQUIRES A MODIFIED FRONT BANG BUMPER FOR FITMENT.
This dual-lid controller box is designed to be compatible with VOW's GT mushies and is inspired by his own printed controller box.
It is designed for use with split packs such as TheBoardGarage's “777” pack.
Currently it is designed to house an Ennoid MK8 ESC. (I just added a thor400 version lid)
Main Features:
Dual-lid design. The top lid mounts the ESC, while the bottom lid has a cutout for a split pack battery.
Easy access bottom lid. The bottom lid is removeable from below while mounted to the frame. The only thing that needs to be removed is the bumper to access the 17x M3 screws.
Shaped handle cutout. My handle is machined to match the cutout on a BANG bumper.
Screw-in with gasket CNC polycarbonate LED window. Vapor polished.
Threaded gland port. (M20x1.5)
Threaded pushbutton port. (M19x1)
20.5mm hole for motor cable.
Shaped hole for switchcraft footpad connector. (XR footpad cable)
H4 LED support via my bracket.
Full size pushbutton support with split pack. This box will fit a ~34mm M19x1 pushbutton, even with the split pack!
MAXIMUM SPACE! I have included as much real estate as possible without sacrificing durability.
Additional Required Parts:
Screws: (all 90 degree countersunk)
Top lid - 25x M3x0.8 8mm
Bottom lid - 17x M3x0.8 8mm
Polycarbonate window - 20x M2.5x0.45 5mm
H4 bracket - 3x M3x0.8 6mm (sorry I couldn't do 8mm here)
H4 LED to bracket - 2x M3x0.8 6mm OR use 4mm non countersunk
Voretex Vent Patch
Machining and printing guide:
All gaskets are printed out of TPU.
All aluminum parts can be finished however you desire. I suggest anodized and bead blasted.
Important: the LED window is machined out of polycarbonate. It MUST be finished with Vapor Polishing to become clear.
I suggest using JLC, but feel free to explore options. I paid 450 with shipping for my first iteration. This is the second revised version of this box.
Make sure to upload drawings for threads.
HUGE THANKS TO:

Any others I may have missed. I appreciate you all!
Stop complaining about too many screw! Go make your own box if you don't like it.
