My first entry in a collection of simple and stylish 3D printed home furnishings and décor. Available to members of all tiers of my Printable Club as a token of gratitude for their support.
The subway tile coaster comes in three variation. There's a version designed with an inset bottom surface to allow for a cork base. Perfect for makers with laser cutters or cutting machines; really anything that can cut 3mm cork. There's another version of the coaster with insets for 3D printed TPU feet, file provided. And finally, a single-piece version for those who prefer to keep things simple. There are also two versions of the coaster caddy, one with recesses for the same TPU feet, and one without. Pick the coaster and caddy combo that best suit your preferences.
All of these files print using default print settings with no need for slicer generated supports. The coasters do, however, print with a breakaway support structure designed to keep them stable while printing. After dragging your coaster into your Slicer, make sure to click “Split to Parts”, otherwise your Slicer will print both the coaster and support structure as one object, making it impossible to separate the two after printing.
