I have a vintage Sprague Tel-Ohmike TO-4 (capacitance tester) that was missing the leather handle on the top. I designed a printable replacement handle that uses TPU filament.
The handle measures 8" long with 7" inside between the notches. The strap is 1/8" thick.
The 5/8" handle also has a rounded version. The inside corners are rounded to hopefully give it more strength by not having a sharp corner that could tear. I have not seen it to be a problem, but thought I would give that option.
I have three versions:
- ½" wide handle
- 5/8" wide handle and the arrows at the end, flare out a bit more
- 5/8" wide handle that has the inside corners rounded
I used 95A TPU (Sorry for the blue color, that is all I had on hand!)
I printed with both 15% and 25% infill and did not see a difference between them.
