This is a, light-weight minimalist protective rubber boot for a HoverAir Beacon as used with X1 autonomous flying camera's / drones . The X1 series are small folding drones that conveniently slips into a large pocket, so it is pointless having a large and heavy storage box (as supplied with both the drones and the beacon/joysticks) in your rucksack or during active field use. Made from 83 shore TPE, it is 1.0mm thick (but with an extra 0.75mm protection at the edges). Fill is gyroid 20%, deliberately not solid to provide impact absorption and protect the drone. The top of the boot is open but there is a retaining tab that follows the beacon contours.
Prints right way up with no support required. BgCode for Mk4 plus STL also provided.
