I've wanted to make an airbrush booth from some foam boards to complete a few projects. I've tried a few corner connectors, but wasn't content with the results. I designed these to fit tightly without falling apart or leaving large gaps.
The foam boards I used were from the dollar tree and are about 4.8mm thick. This project may work on slightly ticker boards.
These Foam Board Corner Fasteners should can be printed as laid out in the STL files using a 0.4mm nozzle.
- I printed the outer and inner pieces with a 15mm brim (Outside only).
- Layer Height = 0.3mm
- Layer Width = 0.4mm
- Minimum Wall Width = 0.3mm
- Print Thin Walls = true
- Wall Line Count = 2
- Horizontal Expansion = -0.07mm (*Important to adjust per your printer's tolerance)
- Initial Layer Horizontal Expansion = -0.05mm
- The screw, I printed separately without a brim.
- Wall Line Count = 4
- Other settings are the same as above.
Enjoy!
