I wanted to mount my node on the shed but had to keep unscrewing to take it down to upgrade the firmware. I made this to compliment my other model that holds a Meshtastic node, 18650, and an antenna. https://www.printables.com/model/1196333-rak-wireless-weather-resistant-off-grid-solar-batt
This holster allows the solar mount to slide down into place, no need to lock or worry about spinning as it fits pretty snug but not overly so. Simply screw or 3M adhere it to your wall then slide the panel in. When it's time to update it, slide it up and out, then pop it back in.
It specifically fits this 5w solar panel https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09CYWCCCY?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2&th=1 but will fit any other mount up to 70mm diameter that is at most 10mm thick.
Lastly there is a drain hole on the bottom so it shouldn't fill with water.
