Skadis Tool Holder Set

This set consists of multiple tool holders designed to mount directly onto a Skadis pegboard using T-nuts and screws, providing a secure and flexible storage solution. Each holder features an open shelf design with a small front lip to keep tools in place while maintaining easy access. The open design makes it simple to grab tools when needed and just as easy to put them back. With multiple holders, you can organize different tools in separate locations, keeping your workspace tidy, accessible, and efficient.

The tool holders are available in a range of sizes to suit different tools. Holder length ranges from 50 mm to 155 mm in 5 mm increments, while width ranges from 25 mm to 50 mm, also in 5 mm increments. All models feature a 25 mm high front lip to help keep tools securely in place while allowing easy access.

Installation

The tool holder attaches to the Skådis pegboard using T-nuts for M3 screws. This mounting method provides a secure fit while allowing for easy installation and removal with a screwdriver. For the best fit, use screws approximately 12 mm long.

Place the screw in the T-nut through the holes in the tool holder and screw it in until the T-nut is about 2-3 mm from the back of the tool holder, insert the T-nuts vertically through the Skadis holes, then as you tighten the screw the T-nut will turn and lock the tool holder to the board.

You can find and download the matching T-nut here: Skadis T-nut for M3 screw.

Printing and print settings

The best way to print the tool holder is flat on the bottom. In the model files the parts are oriented in the best direction for printing. Use PLA for printing with a layer height of 0.2mm or less and a nozzle width of 0.4mm or less. A wall thickness of at least 3 lines and an infill of 25%. There is no need for a support structure.
