I made this because I broke my wooden rake handle. I already had another, nicer rake, so rather than throw the broken one away, I decided that there are situations where a shorter rake is actually useful. This handle makes it look a little more intentional and provides a way to hang it if desired. Outer diameter might look a little large but it's comfortable in the hand. We are talking about salvaging a broken rake after all… and since this was a 10 minute design that worked on the first try I didn't feel compelled to revise & reprint.
Holes are countersunk for #6 screws. The wisdom of screwing into a dowel like that is questionable but at least the option is there.
My Xol toolhead can bridge pretty well so I printed this standing up with no supports. Your mileage may vary though, so consider your own machine's capabilities before printing.
