I was looking into mounting my portable display (a 13", 16:10 screen from Kenowa) to my main monitor which is a ZR24w from HP. As the frame of this monitor protrudes all around the actual display and my mobile screen isn't very heavy, a simple clip-on mechanism turned out to be sufficient. In order to connect the adapters to each other, I chose a C-clamp design for the top and a cylinder-snap-in at the bottom which enables swiveling the external screen by 180°. Attached also the stl of the assembly for illustration purposes.
