A case that I built specifically for the OGX-Mini / Joypad OS projects, but it actually works for any usage you may have for the Waveshare RP2350-USB-A board.

The model is built with very tight tolerances, so depending on your printer you may require to print it with increased scale (or file where needed). Photo was with the model printed at 100% scale, using black ASA filament.

My print settings

  • 0.2mm layer height

  • 4 wall loops

  • 5 top and bottom shell layers

  • 100% infill for maximum rigidity (wasn't really needed for me due to the other settings, but could be required if using a smaller than 0.2mm layer height)

Notes

  • After printing, I suggest you push the USB-C side from the outside of the case, just to make sure it fits properly - it should be a tight fit, a little bit of force would be expected for it to enter the hole.

  • When inserting the board inside the case, start with it at an angle, making sure the USB-C side is properly aligned with the hole (seen from the outside). Then press the USB-A side down, pushing towards the USB-C side. If done properly, after a bit of force the USB-C connector will get into the hole, allowing you to push the USB-A side to the bottom of the case.
