Background
My new shower head mounted way too high for our shower, so I designed this adapter to lower it. The geometry of the handle is very organic and difficult to replicate, so I 3D scanned the shower head for a perfect fit.
Shower head model used is the Delta 2.5GPM 75413DSN

Print Settings
- Material of choice. PETG will likely hold up better, but my adapter, which started as a test made from PLA, has been working fine.
- 3+ perimeters for added strength
- 0.2mm structural profile
Install
To make install easier, I offset the mating face 1mm to account for the thickness of ~1mm thick mounting tape:
- Cut 3 strips 10mmx25mm from high strength mounting tape
- Place strips on side and back of handle where the mount will be installed
- Slide mount up handle and over the strips, then squeeze to secure
