I rotated the object 45 degrees so that it fits onto the K1 Max print bed easily. I also enabled auto tree supports just to make sure the holes didn't have issues since I didn't want it squishing the PTFE to introduce friction.

You may need to reuse some of the old tube that was in use before the upgrade. Steps to use:

  1. Print and install the riser, I like to add some adhesive backed foam around the top for the glass to sit on, but thats optional.
  2. Install the PTFE coupler onto the back of the riser using the provided M3 scew that is securing it after upgrade.
  3. Feed a tube of the right length from the coupler through the hole and into the extruder, add  some of the previous PTFE clips to secure it to the cable chain, I ended up using the old tube that was used before the upgrade, I guessed at the length, I just made sure there were no tight bends. (See cover photo)
  4. Connect the CFS buffer to the coupler using a length of PTFE long enough to have a nice wide radius. You may need to move the CFS buffer to another spot on the back of the K1 Max. (See photo 3)
  5. Test it all.

Note: This works for me, this is a do it at your own risk, if it breaks, I can't help you, and I doubt creality will help you..
