This custom joystick shell transforms your HyperX Pulsefire Saga into a flight-sim–style grip inspired by the F/A-18C Hornet .
Designed for the Saga: HyperX Mouse.
The central throttle rod is held in a friction fit, allowing smooth up-and-down movement for throttle or trim control, leave its housing unglued to prevent binding. Every bearing, or “plastic lager,” as I like to call them, must be oriented exactly as shown in the STL files and look up; any misalignment will impede motion, so double-check before printing. All shell parts are press-fit, though you can add glue where it feels necessary.
This prototype showcases the concept and remains a WIP until I can test with the real mouse—stay tuned for improvements!
TODOS:
Design and integrate a clamp to secure the joystick to a desk or table
Implement a functional upper-button mechanism for added control input
