You can easily upgrade an older ESP-EMS Gateway from an ESP8266 to an ESP32, which is totally worth it when you want the latest Home Assistant integration. It is described here: https://bbqkees-electronics.nl/wiki/gateway/upgrade-the-gateway-to-an-esp32.html. It is an excellent product for interfacing with your heating system.
However, I didn't like how the original housing needed to be modified, making it look ugly. Therefore I designed this new box to have it properly covered and better looking than the original. I used the original screws to fix the board to the base, but some smaller ones to close the housing. I also added some 8 mm magnets to stick it to the boiler.
Note that I only use the jack plug to power the device, so there are no other holes needed. On hindsight I would have left out the hole for LED's too, because I printed it in white PLA and the LED's are visible anyway.
