IKEA Bror FilamentSpool Mounting System

Mounting system to mount your filament spool inside a IKEA Bror cabinet in the corner and in the center.

I wanted to mount two filament spools to my Bror cabinet and saw the design of McVolta. However I wanted to use the Filler Filament holder and specifically the redesign of Purposedesigner. So I remixed both designs and created a new design for a center mount inspired by the design of Jul Str.

Cornermount
For the corner mount you will need to print the following parts

• RemixBrorMount (this is a left corner version, if you want to mount it in the right corner you can mirror this in your slicer)
• RemixFillerSpoolHolder83mm_2mounts_v2
• SpoolRoller
• SpoolRollerKnob
• (Optional) SafetyPin (a safety pin you can insert in the spoolroller to prevent the filamant spool from running of the roller)

And you will need two 608 bearings for the SpoolRoller and two M5 bolts and nuts for mounting the BrorMount to the cabinet.

I have also added a mount adapter in case you have already printed a “Filler Filament Holder” and would like to reuse that.

Centermount
For the center mount you will need to print the following parts

• Centermount_v2
• Centermount_v2_Mirror
• RemixFillerSpoolHolder83mm_2mounts_v2
• SpoolRoller
• SpoolRollerKnob

And you will need two 608 bearings for the SpoolRoller.

Print instructions
You may want to increase the wall count to 4 for added strength.
All parts are orientated in the right printing orientation and can be printed without supports.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

Remix Filler Redesign: added mount on both sides so it can be used in center mounting system and changed the mount design to be printable horizontally as well as vertically.

Remix BROR Filament Spool Holder: changed mounting to my remix of Filler Spoolholder, removed text and enlarged nut holes.

And added my own design components for the complete mounting system.
