This is a forstner bit guide that helps you to stay vertical while drilling holes for furniture hinges. With big holes to get rid of the chips, vertical stop and changable bearing it is a nice tool to help you build some furniture.
I had no bearing in the size I needed so I decided to print a linear bearing. And it worked good enough for my needs. It might be a little tight initially but it loosens with use.
I drilled 10 holes and there is no slop at all in the bearing. It might not be suitable if you drill holes for your living but good enough for me. And if inevitably the bearing is destroyed just pop it out and print a new one.
I also set the depth with a depth stop on the forstner bits shank. You can buy these cheaply from some websites or print them.
It is for forstner bits with a shank of 12 mm.
