I wanted a Dremel mount that
- can be clamped to a table or into a vise
- does not require me to rotate the dremel/holder to screw it in
- should be easy to print
I didn't really find a model that ticked all the boxes.
Printing should probably work in various materials. I've used PETG.
Make sure to use enough perimeters. I have used 6.
Print orientation matters - front to bed.
The bridge is quite long but at least for me it was no problem to print without supports.
The model also features some M3 screw holes. Adding screws provide stiffness and helps to avoid a possible breaking on layer lines. I've only used the two counter sunk screws and it seems to work just fine. Rock solid.
