This is a 3D printable mounting frame for a standard 100 mm × 100 mm, 5 V/5 W monocrystalline solar panel (commonly available on Amazon and AliExpress). The design holds the panel at a fixed 35° tilt angle, optimizing solar exposure for both summer and winter conditions in mid-latitude regions.
The solar panel should be fixed into the frame using an outdoor-rated silicone adhesive. For installations where fasteners are not desired, the screwless version of the frame can be directly mounted to surfaces such as walls, posts, or flat panels using only the same outdoor-rated silicone adhesive.
It is recommended to print the frame using a temperature-resistant material such as PETG, ASA, ABS, or Nylon to ensure durability under prolonged sun exposure.
Designed for straight-off-the-bed printing with no supports.
