This is an extension ring for the Aries Nautilight lamp.
The lamp is designed to have the wires running behind the wall you are mounting the lamp to. This makes it impossible to mount the lamp straight onto a wall and run the wires on the wall.
I wanted to fix this problem by printing an extension ring on which the lamp then is mounted.
Mount the extensions ring onto the wall where you want to have the lamp mounted. Then use the included screws of the lamp to mount the aluminium mounting ring for the lamp onto the extension ring.
The base has room for Wago connectors within them (the lamp in the photos has 2 pcs of 3 port Wago connectors within the extension ring).
The size of the cable opening is unnecessarily large and can be adjusted in the freeCAD file I included. Just change the dimension in the sketch named “wire_canal”, and you're good to go!
