I made this external spool extender originally to fit a rear handle for my AMS Flipper ( https://www.printables.com/model/1407882-p1s-external-spool-extender-for-ams-flipper ) but I know other people will benefit from using it regardless of using that accesory or not. So…here's a set of extenders with different additional sizes, that will fit the spool holder that comes with the P1S. Let me know if this is useful for the X1C as well.
Recommendations: PETG is the way to go, I've minized material in MANY spots so PETG's flexibility is a big advantage. I suggest going for 4 walls with 20% infill-Cubic without Infill Combination and capping printing speeds under 200mm/s. The pictures show recommendations for seam and support placement.
