This mount is made to cradle a Nokia XS-010X-Q optical network terminal, part
number 3FE49331AAAA. The mount may fit other models.
The adhesive that held a square of Velcro on to my ONT failed, and the ONT fell.
Rather than re-glue it, I made a small open-topped case for it.
The mount is made to attach, without adhesive, to a residential network panel box
with a “ladder” of holes at the rear (see photo). These holes are used for zip ties and “pegboard”
type hooks, clips, and brackets. The mount has two “ears” that enable zip ties or
pegboard hooks to pass through and support the mount. The mount hangs, loosely
but securely, from the hooks. For extra security, one could use zip ties instead of
pegboard hooks.
