When going large scale diy 3d printer, the corexy style is not great because of the extremely long belts. Thats why I found the Riff buil very interesting. But i want to go fast and have great cooling. The Riff has the x motor mounted on the 2020 extrusion and therefor already a lot of weight to toss back and forth. To keep the weight down I looked at The100 toolhead. Its lighter than a dragonburner, way more cooling, and smaller footprint. The only “downside” is the bowden setup. For weightsaving there is no direct drive on this toolhead.
