Rotating locking mechanism for the second door of the Biohort Europa shed.
Infos
- simple design - only two printing parts
- 90° angle of rotation
- seamless design, no visible fasteners or screws
- easy adhesive mounting to the inside wall of the door panel

Assembly
- Use a simple countersunk screw (e.g. M3x25) to connect both printing parts

- 2x aluminum poles, 5-6 mm diameter, approx. 1000mm lenght
- bending of the poles: bend one end similar to the original door lock. I recommend heating the tip of the rod first and then carefully beginning to bend it
- Is there an alternative to bending? Do you have a 3D printer? Congratulations ... You can print a suitable adapter!
- Only cut the straight ends of the poles once you have finalized the position of the handle. The length depends on your handle attachment point!
- glue the base of the lock with adhesive mounting tape. Insert the rods before final attachment
- use support for the overhanging wings!
- flat wings are important to ensure good rotation of the bended rod hooks
- use ASA or other heat resistant printing material - the shed can get hot in summer time!
