I made a cover for the touch screen, control knob and USB stick as my 1 year old likes to play with them when he gets in my office and a print is going!
There is clearance at the top of the cover to allow the door to open still. The cover clips on fairly snuggly with the two zig zag fins at the bottom. These can also be easily grabbed to pull the cover off. The knob cover prints separately to make for easier printing.
Print settings I used:
- supports enabled
- 0.2mm layer height
- 0.4mm Nozzle
- 2 perimeters
- 15% infill
- Material PLA
- Both the Controls Main Cover and Knob covers are printed face down - I have a textured PEI sheet so gives a nice powder coated look to the finish that matches the machine
