AMC Eagle Gauge Panel – Aftermarket Conversion
This is a custom gauge panel designed for the optional gauge cluster in the AMC Eagle. My Eagle came with the factory gauge console, but not the proprietary cable needed to connect all the sensors. So, I decided to remake the gauge pod to fit standard aftermarket gauges.
I also included an adapter for the OEM vacuum gauge. It’s functional—it holds the gauge in place—but it’s not perfect. I might revisit that design later to improve the fit and finish.
The panel is split into two parts to accommodate most 3D printers. I originally planned to glue the small tabs I added to join the pieces, but that didn’t hold up well. In the end, I plastic welded the parts together. If you’ve got a better idea, feel free to remix the design and share your version!
This was my very first 3D model, so I learned a lot along the way. It’s not flawless, but it works—and that’s what counts.
Material Notes: I printed this in PETG, which worked fine, but ASA or ABS might be better choices for improved heat resistance and durability.
