This 3D printable lamp base with a built-in electronics chamber is designed to power and showcase eye-catching light-up 3D models — such as rocket launches, smoke trails, clouds, or atmospheric sculptures.
The base features:
- A dedicated compartment for electronics
- Hidden cable routing channels
- Mounting slots for a toggle switch and a power input jack
- Space for two 18650 Li-Ion batteries and charging electronics (e.g. TP4056 board)
- A removable lid for easy access and assembly
Printing Tips:
- Material: PLA
- Supports: Not needed (unless your printer struggles with overhangs)
- Layer height: 0.2 mm for best detail-to-speed balance
- Infill: 15–20% is enough
- Test fit switch and jack holes — may vary slightly based on your hardware
