This small case is meant for 2x AAA battery, so you can lug them around safely while in the woods or at the range. I initially designed this to carry around some spare batteries for my active hearing protection while at the range. Uses a single M3 nut inserted in the middle of the print to tighten all parts together and to make a better seal.
Print the base bottom-down and the cap top-down to get a nice finish. No supports required.
The “TPU gasket” should be printed from a flexible material, or you can substitute it with your own gasket material. It's supposed to sit tight in the recess of the base, and might be tricky to position there.
! Remember to pause the print using a macro or modified g-code to insert the M3 nut into the print !
