Description

I designed my own lamp for my balcony that is easy to print, assemble, and maintain.
The construction uses PLA+ 2.0, PETG, and TPU 95A depending on the part and its purpose.

Bambulab .3mf Files vor Bambu Studio with print profile available on Makerworld.

Required Components

  • E27 lamp holder
  • E27 LED bulb
  • Wago connector (or other terminal block)
  • Screws for wall mounting
  • 4 × M3 × 16 mm countersunk screws for assembly

Assembly

The lamp is made of three main parts:

1. Base Plate

  • Mounted directly to the wall
  • Includes a TPU 95A sealing ring
  • The power cable is routed through this seal

2. Main Body

  • Houses the lamp holder adapter
  • Later secured to the base plate with two screws

3. Lamp Holder Adapter

  • Precisely sized for an E27 lamp holder
  • The socket is fixed using its built-in strain relief
  • Attached to the main body with two M3 screws
  • After completing the electrical wiring (e.g., via Wago connector):
  • Screw the main body to the base plate
  • Insert the E27 bulb
  • Push the lampshade into place

Important Note

This lamp is installed under a roof on my balcony.
It is not tested to any IP protection standard and therefore not guaranteed to be waterproof or weatherproof. For outdoor environments, it should only be used in covered or sheltered areas.
