This spiral globe lamp shade is a redesigned version of the original model, created to simplify printing and improve overall strength. Unlike the original design, which is made of three separate parts, this version is a single solid piece with the lamp holder support fully integrated. This eliminates the need for magnets or any additional hardware, making the model more durable, easier to assemble, and more reliable over time.
The lamp shade is specifically designed to be printed in Vase Mode, preserving the spiral texture and allowing for a clean single-wall print. It is very important to set enough bottom layers to reach approximately 4 mm of base thickness, as this provides the necessary rigidity and stability while keeping the rest of the model in true vase mode.
Even with the integrated structure, the bulb can still be installed from below by hand, without tools or disassembly. The design is optimized for an E27 lamp holder, but it can be adapted to other socket types if needed. For safety reasons, LED bulbs only are recommended.
