This is my door bell using this very Kailh Choc Arcade Button. Model for the door bell coming soon!

Inspired by isycat's model, I set out to create one for the Kailh Choc (v1) keyswitch because it allows for a more low-profile button.

  • At 19mm from top to bottom this is truly low profile

  • Should work with plate thickness from 1-6mm

  • Easily removable due to screw-on design

  • Two holes on the bottom allow the cap to be removed with a small allen wrench

  • Designed for FDM printing!

How to print?

I recommend printing the base upside-down with organic supports, use support enforcer slightly smaller than the inside of the base for easy support removal.

Print the adapter flat, so that the clips and pins won't break off when you install them.

The switch should just clip in, but if it doesn't be careful and use a bit of force. It can be very tight.

I printed mine on a Prusa MINI with 0.25mm nozzle in PLA. The doorbell model will also be coming soon!

Thanks to...

isycat for their model designed for MX style switches, inspiring me to make this for Kailh Choc.

koktoh on GitHub for their detailed models of the keyswitch which made this much easier to design.
