Dry Box Outlet Alternative
This outlet is designed as a PLA replacement for the original TPU plug used in the FlashForge AD5X dry box.
While the stock outlet is intended to be printed in flexible TPU, this version uses simplified geometry and adjusted tolerances to allow reliable printing in PLA. It provides a solid, friction-fit solution for users who prefer not to print flexible materials or want a quick, easy-to-print alternative.
The outlet provides enough of a tolerance fit to hold 4mm PTFE tubing in place whilst still being easy enough to remove if required. I'd recommend gluing the plug onto the dry box to keep it in place.
If you’re thinking of printing this outlet plug, consider printing the blanking plug I designed for the opposite side.
