I couldn't find a version with the holes positioned toward the top, so I made up this version. It has a 2mm thick wall to help keep heat and fumes inside. By moving the four holes toward the upper edge of the opening, the PTFE tubes sit at a bit more of a natural angle, allowing for smoother filament travel and less "tug" on the toolhead. The holes should be 4.5mm, but I was struggling to get them exact in Blender. My PTFE tubes went through fine, but with little wiggle room.

The settings I used:

  • Material: PETG.

  • Orientation: Printed Face Down (the flat 2mm wall facing the bed). See photos for how it came out. I was able to stick a screwdriver through the PTFE holes into the support side to make a hole, then used a flathead screwdriver to pry the supports out, beware that this may damage the face. You may find it better to print with another orientation.

  • I used Tree Supports with a Top Z Distance of 0.20mm.
