Does your cc do a really good job of printing in mid-air when filament has run out? well this guy is going to help!

I noticed the slop in the shaft (shown in first gif) was allowing the arm to slightly move away from the sensor, causing it to continue printing, not detecting the loss of filament.

I designed this small cap to go on top of the pivot point of the mechanism inside the sensor. this allows proper function of the spring and pivoting arm to work correctly while taking up the slop and stopping the arm from coming loose.

I printed this with a 0.25 nozzle at 0.07mm layer height. have not tested it with a 0.4 nozzle, but i'm sure it will be dimensionally accurate as well.

I tend to do all walls on small parts for ease of printing.
